Course Description: This two-day CME course will consist of didactic sessions and hands-on microdissection of fresh-frozen cadavers. Major topics will include sinonasal anatomy and imaging, standard and extended transsphenoidal surgical approaches to the parasellar area (fully endoscopic, direct microscopic and endoscope-assisted), as well as the supraorbital "eyebrow" craniotomy approach. Additional topics will include instrumentation requirements, CSF leak repair techniques, complication avoidance and peri-operative hormonal management.
